RSI has developed algorithms for image enhancement, multi-source information fusion, and multi-look image fusion. A new intelligent software tool for enhancing multi-look imagery from a set of image frames (or snapshots) is currently being developed. The figure below shows one type of enhancement of an area in at the edge of the lunar disk. On top is a single frame from a telescopic video capture. The bottom image contains an enhanced composite created by processing multiple frames from the video sequence.
